I am in-network with Aetna.
For clients with other insurance plans in California who receive out-of-network benefits, I now offer streamlined reimbursement options for therapy through services like Mentaya and Thrizer, making the process easier and more accessible.

Getting Ready for Your Brainspotting Session (Telehealth Edition)
Here’s a simple, step-by-step guide to help you prepare:
Step 1: Create Your Healing Space

Choose a quiet, private spot where you feel safe.

Bring a blanket, water, tissues—whatever helps you feel grounded.

Put pets in another room and silence notifications on your devices.
Step 2: Set Up Your Devices

Use a computer or tablet for the video session (a bigger screen helps me track your eyes).

Place it at eye level and keep it steady—no need to hold it.

Use a second device (like a phone or iPod) to play the Brainspotting audio track.
Step 3: Prepare Your Audio

Download or stream a BioLateral Brainspotting track (Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, orBioLateral Sound).

Use over-the-ear headphones that let you still hear me clearly.

Make sure the track plays in stereo (both ears equally) and is set to repeat.

Keep the volume low—like soft background music.
If you'd prefer to access tracks through my private website, let me know and I’ll send you the password.
Step 4: Gather Helpful Tools

Sticky notes or a tall object to help mark visual spots.

A sleep mask or bandana if we’ll be working with one eye at a time.

Anything that helps you feel cozy and supported.
During the Session
We’ll begin with gentle attunement—checking in with your body and emotions. I’ll guide you to find a “brainspot,” and from there, your system will do the work. You don’t need to talk the whole time. You can pause, breathe, reflect, or simply notice.
I’ll be with you every step—tracking, supporting, and holding space.
This is your space. Your healing. Your turn. Let’s begin—gently, together.
Payment
Payment is due within 24 hours via auto-payment. We accept all major credit cards, FSA/HSA cards, or Zelle payments.
Private Pay Costs

· Individual Session (50 minutes): $230
· Family Session (50 minutes, 2 members or child - parent): $275

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment and have not notified us at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full session cost.

Good Faith Estimate
· You have the right to a "Good Faith Estimate" of expected costs.
· Especially useful for patients without insurance.
· Request an estimate before scheduling.
· Dispute any bills $400+ over the estimate.
